John started his real estate journey in 1973, when he accepted the position of branch manager for the Stan Wiley Lake Oswego office. In 1979 John became a partner in The Realty Group, Inc. and in 1992, John and his partners merged with Cronin & Caplan to become Cronin & Caplan Realty Group. Just two years later the company became a Windermere franchise. John was branch manager for the Raleigh Hills office for 41 years and in 2017, was nominated for PMAR Managing Broker of the Year.       

In 2020, John was honored to move his Real Estate license to (w)here Inc. real estate. To John, character is everything, for agent and manager alike and to add to an already strong career, John was awarded the coveted Realtor Emeritus REALTOR Status Designation from the National Association of Realtors, bestowed after 40 years of active membership.
